www.patioandhomeimprovement.com We are in Westminter Colorado installing a bubbling rock water feature on this backyard remodel. We dug a hole about 18inches deep for the water pump to sit just below the water line. We have lined the hole with a commercial grade weed barrier and installed the pond liner over that. We installed large blocks to aloow the bubbling rock to sit level. We filled the rest of the pond with 3-5 inch cobble stone for proper filtration. Next we will install the plumbing through the rock and connect it to the water pump.
